Molly's story
When I bought my first circular sock machine, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It was a 1904 Gearhart and I named her Stella. She had made many socks in her time and was probably disgusted with my lack of ability. I watched a lot of videos and was lucky enough to stumble onto a local group of circular sock machine knitters. After getting comfortable with the basics, I started to refine the pattern to achieve what I thought made a great sock. I'm a daughter, a sister, and a mother. I make socks and other things. My house is sometimes a mess, but my heart is always full. My partner Kris joined me in 2023 and has become an important part of everything.
